The first spa project
Delivery of fixed furnishings for the new spa and wellness environment, including the treatment rooms.
Spa & restaurant · Long-term collaboration
A relationship of trust that has grown over time, from the first spa delivery in 2014 to the restaurant in 2019 and the continued spa extension in 2026.
Three phases · one collaboration
AB Gunnar Svensson’s work at Hooks Herrgård spans more than a decade. Each new phase has built on the previous one, with a consistent focus on carefully developed fixed furnishings, durable materials and solutions that work in daily operations.
Every phase was completed in close collaboration with Per Öberg Arkitekt. Our role has been to translate the architect’s ideas into finished joinery and furniture with the right quality, expression and function.
Project development
Delivery of fixed furnishings for the new spa and wellness environment, including the treatment rooms.
A renewed commission to deliver fixed furnishings for the restaurant environments.
Additional bar counter, changing-room lockers, sorting units and other fixed furnishings, as well as sofas.
2014 · Spa
The collaboration began in 2014 when AB Gunnar Svensson was commissioned to supply fixed furnishings for the Hooks Herrgård spa project. Reception desks, counters, shelving, storage and other bespoke joinery created a coherent environment with a warm character.
The strong presence of timber ties the architecture together and gives the functional elements an expression suited to the manor’s spa and wellness setting.
2019 · Restaurant
Five years later, we were also entrusted with delivering fixed furnishings for the restaurant. Bespoke counters, service furniture, storage and other joinery were coordinated into environments where guest experience meets efficient operation.
The work continued in close dialogue with Per Öberg Arkitekt, building on the material character and level of detail established in the earlier spa project.
2026 · Spa extension
For the 2026 spa extension, we added new fixed furnishings. The delivery included a bar counter, changing-room lockers, sorting units, other bespoke solutions and sofas for the new areas.
The new phase demonstrates the value of long-term collaboration: previous knowledge of the property could be combined with new requirements without losing the coherent character.
