Elite Hotel Frost
We were involved from the very beginning. Our work ranged from contracts and floor plans to project management, detailed design, delivery and completed installation. The assignment included every guest room and suite, as well as virtually everything guests encounter in the hotel's public areas.

Involved from the start
From contracts and floor plans to a completed hotel
AB Gunnar Svensson joined the project at an early stage, initially working directly with the client on contracts, requirements, floor plans and furniture layouts. As the project developed, the work continued together with building architect a och d Arkitektkontor.
We were later commissioned to manage parts of the delivery on behalf of the client. We became the link between the client, architects, consultants, suppliers and installers, taking the work from concepts and documentation to a coordinated, functioning result on site.
The collaboration
Many disciplines, one coordinated delivery
The hotel's interior environments were developed in close collaboration with Skuggan. For the spa, we worked with Per Öberg Arkitekt. Our role was to contribute detailing, material and production expertise and to ensure that solutions could be manufactured, delivered and installed.
Throughout the process, we worked with budgets, schedules, interfaces and practical details, allowing decisions to reflect design, function and implementation in equal measure.
Our scope
- Contracts and early floor plans
- Furniture layouts and detailed design
- Project management for the client
- Every guest room and suite
- Fixed and loose furnishings
- Corridor carpets
- Lobby, restaurant and sky bar
- Conference rooms
- Spa and treatment environments
- Technical coordination and detailing
Bathrooms
From prototype bathroom to completed modules and suites
Early in the process, we developed a prototype bathroom together with PART AB. This allowed the client and project team to assess materials, details, functionality and installation before the bathrooms were produced and delivered as complete modules.
We later also participated in the detailing and delivery of the site-built suite bathrooms, where each solution had to be adapted to the room conditions and the intended quality level.
Rooms & suites
Complete furnishing of every guest room
We furnished every hotel room and suite with both fixed and loose furnishings. The work included headboards, storage, desks, seating, lighting, textiles and the other details that together create each room's function and character.
We also supplied and installed the corridor carpets, allowing us to maintain a consistent whole from the guest room interiors to the routes connecting them.
Public areas
Everything the guest sees
The assignment continued throughout all of the hotel's public areas. We furnished the lobby, restaurant, conference rooms, sky bar and spa with fixed and loose furnishings, textiles, carpets, decorative lighting and bespoke details.
The broad scope allowed us to follow the complete guest journey through the hotel, while placing high demands on coordination, logistics and installation.
Technical coordination
Detailed expertise beyond the interiors
Our assignment also included participation in the detailed design of the commercial kitchen, the spa water-treatment system and matters involving IT and electrical installations. This required the interiors to be coordinated with building services, operations, workflows and technical requirements.
Working across several disciplines allowed us to identify dependencies early and contribute to solutions where architecture, interiors and technology function together in the completed hotel.
