Admiral Hotel
At Admiral Hotel, we were involved from detailed planning through to completed installation. Our assignment included the detailing of fixed joinery, dialogue on material choices, scheduling, delivery and installation. We also supplied all loose furnishings, textiles and decorative lighting for the lobby, breakfast restaurant, Restaurant Aye Aye, bar, conference rooms, wellness area, pool area and outdoor dining terrace.
Our assignment
From detailing to installation
AB Gunnar Svensson participated in the delivery of the hotel's public environments. Together with the architect and client, we developed the documentation, discussed material choices and translated the fixed joinery into solutions that work both technically and in daily hotel operations.
The assignment covered several parts of the hotel and required a coordinated schedule for production, delivery and installation. By following the work throughout, we could safeguard details, quality and the transition from drawings to completed interiors.

Materials, details and buildable solutions
Co.Designstudio was responsible for the architecture and interior concept. Our role was to contribute expertise in materials, construction and production, translating drawings and ideas into buildable fixed joinery.
Materials and details were discussed continuously to unite the architect's design intent with function, durability and the practical requirements of production and installation.

Fixed joinery for the hotel's public areas
In the lobby and reception, we detailed the fixed joinery with a focus on dimensions, function, material junctions and fixings. The details were adapted both to the architect's concept and to the conditions of the existing building.
Close dialogue during the detailing phase allowed questions to be resolved before production, resulting in clearer documentation and a smoother installation on site.
Restaurant & other environments
A coordinated delivery across several phases
The work covered environments with different functions and schedules: the breakfast restaurant, Restaurant Aye Aye, bar, conference rooms, wellness area, pool area and outdoor dining terrace. We coordinated production and deliveries so that the correct furnishings could be installed at the right stage.
The broad scope required planning and close contact between the client, architect, production team and installers. Our task was to coordinate our parts and drive them forward towards completion.
The delivery
A partner through to the completed interior
Our responsibility did not end with the drawings. We followed the fixed joinery from detailing and material selection through production, delivery and installation on site. In addition, we were responsible for supplying all loose furnishings, textiles and decorative lighting.
This gave the project one coordinated point of contact and allowed adjustments and practical questions to be handled as the work progressed. The goal was to deliver carefully developed solutions at the right quality and at the right time.
